Our Weekly Affirmation: Giving
Each week we choose a special focus from our Angel Bear Yoga Book to discuss and think about.
For the two weeks before Thanksgiving we focused on gratitude. We created a thankful tree in our classroom. The children could trace a leaf, write something they are thankful for, cut it out and hang it on our tree.
This week our focus is on giving. We listened to an Angel Bear story about giving and had a discussion at circle time about the different ways in which we can give. Hugs and love were some of the favorite things the children enjoy giving. Here is a picture of Angel bear doing the giving yoga pose.

Homemade Bread
Melissa (Brinley's Mom) donated a bread maker to our classroom. We now can make our own fresh bread. We made our first loaf on Friday morning. It was quite exciting as the smell of fresh bread filled our classroom.
